Sports & Remedial Massage is a form of bodywork that is targeted toward people who participate in sports and other physical activity. A range of massage therapies are used to help prevent and treat injuries, prepare the body for athletic or work activity, and maintain it in optimal condition. Murray is a Master Trainer and Remedial Massage Therapist, and understands the mechanisms of movement and dysfunction, and is able to provide assessment and targeted treatments.
There are so many benefits of regular deep tissue relaxation massage therapy. This style of massage is an effective way of relieving aches, pains, tension and stress, and targets the source of the body’s pain and tension, by: decreasing tension in the muscles, increasing flexibility, and providing relaxation to the affected areas (and to the body as a whole). Both Murray and Polly provide deep tissue massage.
Early intervention is the key for any soft tissue condition, and can substantially decrease the time and money needed for recovery. So don’t wait until you have fully established pain and dysfunction before seeking treatment. It is best to book an appointment at the first sign of a ‘niggle’ or tightness. That way you will minimize the number of treatments required, and effectively decrease the likelihood of increased pain and dysfunction in the future.
Our Mobile Massage Service rate is very affordable – $75 per hour. This is our way of paying forward, enabling more people to access massage.
Our mobile travel charge is also very affordable , and is calculated at Distance one way x $1 per km. Note: The first 5kms is on us, and the distance is calculated from 22 Allora Drive, Maroochydore. Please ask us for a quote at the time of your booking.
